AgrarKontakte International (AKI) e.V. is an independent, non-profit organisation, founded in 1998 by the Regional Farmers’ Association in Baden-Württemberg e.V. out of many years of work with various countries. Under the voluntary management of Hans-Benno Wichert and an executive board, AKI has been expanding international contacts ever since. The full-time team works tightly with partners in states of Central and Eastern Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States, as well as countries in Africa, Southeast Asia and South America.
The goal of AKI’s work is, in addition to the implementation of agricultural internship programs in southern Germany, to carry out project management for international projects in the area of agrifood, continuing education and expert programs, and specialized seminars and delegation visits for farmers and skilled workers from the agricultural and food sector, both in Germany and in our partner countries. The existing network of international contacts shall thereby be strengthened and expanded.
We are your international partner in the agricultural and food sector, who brings people and institutions together, in the areas of education, economy and politics.
