An important focus of our work is the implementation of the traineeship programs. The aim of the professional training and continuing education programs with the motto “Learning by doing”, which last several months, is the conveyance of agricultural knowledge. This provides the trainees with the possibility to gather extensive practical experience in areas such as pig and cattle farming, milk production, arable farming or wine and fruit growing.
The trainees also participate in daily life both at the family farm as well as in the town, which facilitates and eases the linguistic and cultural integration in Germany.
The practical training is supported by multiple-day intern meetings which provide an opportunity to exchange experiences, as well as professional and cultural excursions.
In addition to a willingness to integrate into German culture, strong German language skills are also a basic requirement for a successful traineeship. Furthermore, a strong professional interest for agriculture and a readiness to participate in daily, practical tasks are expected.
